This week I am writing to you from the Boise Mountains. A small town named Star not far from the Bogus Basin recreation ski area.
The ride up the mountain was breathtaking. It took us 40 minutes to drive up to 5800 feet above sea level from 2700 feet. The highest peak in the mountain range being 10,800 feet. We passed so many bicyclists on the way.
I remembered to take plenty of pictures, especially of the unusual and beautiful plant life.
Our view from the ski area, rows of mountains reaching out into the distance.
We also stopped at the Lucky Fin on N 8th St Plaza in downtown Boise, for sushi on the patio. It was a beautiful day. We have one more week out here. Hopefully I will have more to write about.
It’s been lovely having this time away and spending time with my son in his home with his children. Have you done anything extra lately? Vacation or getaway. Do you have any plans for this summer?
Thank you for reading. Until next time much love and blessings. Hanna
