Daily Bravery: Strength in Routine

I am brave and happy. Crocus painting and routine

I am grateful to be here in February 2025. Every day I bravely get out of bed and start working through my list of daily habits. It’s easier for me if I keep the order of tasks in my routine the same each day. This way I won’t forget to do things.

Focus my word for the year.
FOCUS is my word for the year.

Walking

Because walking is really important for my health, I’ve put it in my daily routine. I walk 3 times a day for 10 minutes each. This way my body has movement throughout the day. I’m working towards never missing a day.

I haven’t been doing very well with walking this year, managing only two days in a row. Some days I get 20 minutes and some only 10 minutes. Other days I am in pain and really tired. Yet even though I’m tired, it will still be a good day when I’ve had my walk.

Sleep

I end up sleeping between 10 and 12 hours a night. That’s a lot of sleep but if it’s healing me then it’s a good thing. It does make it difficult for me to get a lot of things accomplished. However, with a good routine I can still get the important things done.

Daily Drawing Habit

Recently, I realized that I hadn’t been taking time for daily drawing. I decided to put it into my daily routine as an added habit. Now I’m drawing again white I drink my coffee, after my first walk. I think it will help me a lot.

Printable Calendar

I finished painting the crocuses and painted the words. This is the artwork I used to make this month’s calendar download. You can enjoy it as a printable if you sign up for my newsletter.

I chose the words because even though I am being brave, it makes me feel happy. Saying these words makes me feel brave too and that makes me happy. I want you to say these words as well any time you need to feel brave. Tell yourself that you are brave. The feeling you get after being brave helps your body heal and empowers you to be brave again.

I’m being brave when I
  • decide to get up and keep going
  • send out a newsletter with my new art in it
  • write and publish a new blog post
  • sharing my weakness with you
  • share my silly pictures with you.

Maybe this is the year I’ll focus on being brave.

How are you being brave? Share with me in the comments I’d love to hear from you.

Love and blessings,

Hanna
