The last week in Idaho was very hot. 100° F hot, though the humidity was a very low 17-20. In the evening we headed up to Lucky Peak Lake where we played in the water with the kids and dogs.
Bruce loves to swim and the kids threw the stick into the water over and over for him and he kept jumping in to get it. It was a lovely end to a hot day.
Lucky Peak Lake boasted lots of unusual wild plants and tiny flowers for me to take pictures of.
Later my Grandson showed me the dianthus he planted a couple of years ago and a beautiful pink carpet rose which was just bursting into flower.
It was a wonderful 2 weeks, full of new sights and sounds and the people that I’ve been missing so much. The reason for me to work hard. I also have a lot of new pictures on my phone to help with inspiration for my pattern work and new paintings. I hope to have a lot more to share with you over the next weeks.
Thank you for reading this. I hope that your entrance to June 2021 has been a good one and that you have new memories to cherish. If you want you can share your new memory in the comments.
I loved being away and I loved coming home. There’s something about being in my own home, sleeping in my own bed, even though my son took such good care of me. I am glad to be back in my studio working on my art projects.
Love and blessings,
Hanna

Excellent, glad to hear you were able to enjoy yourself during the hot weather. Nothing beats some good ol’ nature inspiration, I can’t wait to see what else you come up with. ✌🏻
Thank you for reading and for your comment. I’m determined to conquer the website and blog thing (they are so challenging), so I’m sure you’ll be hearing more from me. Blessings, Hanna
