We are home now. It’s great to be home where all my things are even though I took a much needed peaceful, ‘time out’. Chloe enjoyed Church camp but stayed with us in the camper at night. Mark went to work because we were only half an hour from home, so I had a few very quiet, all by myself days. Here are some more camping words, phrases and pictures.
rain going plunk, plop, splatter on the roof
green grass freshly mowed
whirring mower
geese families coming out in the evenings to feed
crane hiding from me
wash house
picnic table
water lilies
kayaks
humming air conditioner
deer silent, watching
dog sleeping while rain drip dropping
long walks
walking cane
lots of sitting
boredom
pines
oaks
elm
beech
cottonwoods
bugs and bugspray
ice cream
poison ivy and mint
blue dragonfly
grown up movies
Driving Miss Daisy
Grapes of Wrath
swans
surprise and awe at the sight of these beautiful creatures
Chloe chose an art activity at camp.
She truly brightens our lives.
Love and blessings,
Hanna
