My Chi

There is a force,
bigger than the universe
and it lives in me.

It gives me strength
to love myself
and go against my fears.

It gives me strength
to march forward
when I would surely halt.

It says to me from within
“Do It Anyway,
You’ll see”

“I’ll help you
and lead you
and guide you
and keep you,
you will succeed.”

There is a force

It is my courage,
my strength,
my chi.
