Oil on paper.
I discovered this paper, made by Strathmore specifically for oil. It has a texture like canvas and is fairly thick. It didn’t warp or buckle. The painting should last a lifetime at least. I enjoyed painting on it as it is less expensive than canvas panels or stretched canvas and was not intimidating.
