Camping words.
Campfire, wood, smoke, folding chairs.
Picnic table, hotdogs, buns, ketchup, chips.
Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers.
Pancakes, bacon, griddle, maple syrup.
Camper.
Flies, dragonflies, spiders.
Woods, rocks, river.
Fish, mosquitoes, flowering weeds.
Deer, squirrels,
noisy racoons fighting, birds singing.
Trailer hitch and big mirrors.
Setting up camp and breaking it down.
Eager to get out of the truck to check out the new site, will we like it, will it be shady enough, will we make good memories here?
Coffee, friendly neighbors, breezes under trees.
Tiny travel paint set, tiny bathroom.
Bright spots of color, God’s beauty,
blooming all alone between the rocks.
Blooming for the sake of blooming.
Giving it all you’ve got just because.
These are some of the camping words of summer.
I will have to find more words next time.
Home again and back to reality. Cleaning the house. The house always needs cleaning. It’s dirty because living is dirty, messy, alive.
Also back to working on ladybug designs for napkins to put in my on-line store. This is much harder than I thought it would be. Reality is often much different than the dream.
My ladybug book has a beginning, page one, in a sketch book that is big enough for me to express my thoughts. So far it has not been following the rules. The first draft should be small thumbnail sketches in book format. Quickly scribbled pictures with the words, but that is not how this book wants me to write it. It wants a huge (18″x24″) sketchbook with large full color pages. I’m thinking, collage. That could be fun.
Writing a book is such an adventure.
Love all the camping words/pics! And Yay!!! You’re ladybug’s looking wonderful!!! Cheers! 🙂
